Autodialers have been illegal since last Sept. unless you have had a prior relationship with the prospect. You can be fined significantly for using one.

You can use an opt-in list and still use an auto-dialer. Still worth it. You can also use a live person to start the call and then transfer them to the recording. I get great results with both of these methods. Much better than mailers.

Jody is right. There is still "opt-in" list which I know is still doing the same thing. Yes, everyone once in awhile you will have one that was a mistake and is irate that the call ever came through, but it's not the end of the world. I agree with your comments Jody and thanks for all your feedbacks as I've been following your post for awhile and you have not sent any red flags. does any consumer opt in to be called ?? What % of the people do this...I like www.donotcall.gov Most of us add ourselves to the do not call list.
