FE Lead - Miselading??

"And that's EXACTLY why I'm calling you, Mr. Prospect! Getting qualified today is much easier than it was 3 years ago -- companies have relaxed underwriting requirements and made rates more competitive. All I need is 5 to 10 minutes to show you how these programs work; what you do with it is TOTALLY up to you. Can you see me tomorrow at 5PM?"

Lol we must have used the same recordings. Bill something right? Whatever people want to call it, it worked. NAA gets made fun of alot but they knlw how to sell alot of insurance.

Oh wait... you must think that folks buy FE life ins like they call up and order a pair of shoes from mail order. Well some do actually, those usually call Aarghp. Frankly though, what you need to understand here is that this stuff is SOLD... you've got to be able to handle the guy that says this was misleading...

Had an appt last week... a big guy meets me just inside the door and is hostile. He tells me to just get on out of there cause I am wasting my time... (I figure I am only wasting me time if I leave, cause I just drove 55 mins to get there and it would be another 55 mins to get back where I came from). So I let him hammer on me a bit, with rebuttals... he sees that I am unphased. He eventually goes into the other room and I hear him talking to his wife and he loudly says, "Do you want to talk to him.... well do ya?" The answer must have been yes, cause I went in the front room and sold her some of that FE life ins.

In the process I learned why ole Dad has a burr up his azz... he just got hit with a 36K hosp bill... he didn't have Part B Medicare. Duh. Now he is pissed at the world. But his wife now has life ins.

Now, I'm not trying to tell you that I am all that good, others may have sold her more. What I am saying is the guy who was there to "clerk that deal" wouldn't have made that sale. He/she would have run out the door when ole Dad got gruff. So you've got to understand the territory and that territory doesn't include many people trying to flag you down wanting to buy ins.

Good job on the "close". I've found that most of the prospects who give you a lot of objections, before the warm-up, are kinda like putty in your hands.

Just be patient, let them rant and rave. They'll run out of steam in a few min. Then you carry on like nothing happened and it'll be smooth sailing for you a lot of the times.

However, most loser agents when confronted with this situation, will hand their card to the prospect and turn around and leave...empty handed.
