FE Mailer Question

I'm talking about actually playing it for them and them standing saying "that's not me!". When it's obvious it is. I even had one guy in the house say, "Mom, that's you?. Still insisted it wasn't.

People are so afraid of any kind of commitment they won't even admit it was them. We are dealing with the lowest common denominator of society a lot of the time.

I had 1 a week ago....said it must've been her sister watching her house cause they (the owners) were out of town. I asked well she says her husband on the recording and the lady looks blank and says "yeah she mustve thought it was something about our medical and just acted like me & my husband"....Unreal!

It would be quite funny to see the look on her face if you said, "Well, can you give me her addre....Oh, nevermind, that won't work either. You see, she was one of the lucky calls of the day where we give out about $1000 in free stuff, but the person we talk to has to be the owner of the house. For God's sake don't tell her; she'll be very mad about that! Okay, gotta run" :D

I had the oddest one a few years ago on a small case, about $25/mo. I had met with this lady and she claimed to want coverage. I got her approved with RNA and it was a future draft. I had sent her a thank you card and everything.

Her first draft was NSF and when I called her about getting it fixed she said she just wasn't going to be able to keep the policy and to just forget it. She was nice about it and thanked me for my time.

Apparently her bank charged her an overdraft fee and instead of calling me to complain she called RNA and told them she had never taken out a policy, didn't know who I was or anything.

I had to send in a detailed report about all of this. After doing so I called her and asked what was up. She was just as nice as always and I asked her why she told RNA that she didn't know me or do an application. She said it was all a big misunderstanding and I must have talked to her twin sister.:D

I asked her why she hadn't mentioned her twin before and she said because they didn't get along. So then I asked why her twin sister was at her house instead of her all three times I was there. She said, "she just does that".

I'll understand if no one believes this story. I wouldn't myself if someone else was telling it. I always wondered what RNA put in that file.:goofy:

Not FE but a mortgage lead. Called the lead first and she agreed to an appointment. Then she no showed me..2 hours later I was in the neighborhood so I door knocked son answered the door and I asked for the woman by name and the son says hold on closes the door and comes back2 minutes later and says there is no one their by that name.

I asked if they owned the house and he said they did...I said then you people need to worry because this woman just had a deed for the house put in her name and responded to a mailing at this address and I had keyed in the phone number and hit send in my pocket so I said and she has been answering your phone.

I said don't worry son I feel bad your parent is so chicken **** she put you in this position...I admit I was pissed.

JD, that's just the standard run of the mill I have an evil twin excuse. That's number #454 in the lame excuse manual.

It's right between #453- My dog has explosive diarrhea today and #455 the always popular - I have a hair appointment on Thursday so I can't meet with anyone this week. I got one of the classic #221s yesterday. The ol' I'm going back to school and get a degree so I'll have plenty of money to do this next year.

Yeah, I know.. But at least they know it is going to coost them something. Kind of like CP's 20 cents per day for "one" unit. Of course one unit is not enough coverage to make it worthwhile and most folks spend more.

How about opinions on E-27?

I like E-27, have you ever used one with wording similar to that?

This is an FE mailer I've picked up a couple of times. Anybody ever use this one? Another one I like the way this is worded.

The return on the e27 isn't that good... My experience is the following..

the more clients you get in front of, the more sales...

I don't care if the lead says " If you have a check ready to buy the insurance TODAY and are going to buy the insurance NOW, mail this in"

you'll still get the same nonsense:goofy:
