Is it really possible that out of 24 leads that NONE of them remember filling out the damn card? Jesus I'm pissed.

I really hate it when that happens. My guess is, the leads are really old. You may try a refresher letter with a copy of the lead printed at the top. Mail them out, give them a few days and try again. It will be like they are brand new! Good luck!

In 16-years only a very few have remembered filling out the card.

The reason is they just thought they were going to get a brochure. They didn't remember asking for someone to actually contact them. No matter what the card said.

Then for the love of God...what is the point of buying these leads from Efes, Securus, LH???

I guess I'll pull up to the house, wave at their ugly dog...knock on the door...wipe my feet after they answer..and then just walk in. WTF. This is just plain silly. We're marketing to a demographic that has little money and even less of a sound mind.

I'll agree with Newby. I get my leads now from EFES but I have gotten leads from just about every source. I would say that 80% first tell me they don't remember sending in the card just as 80% didn't remember making the recorded call and 80% didn't remember calling in from a TV advertisement.

That is just the nature of the FE market. They are world class procrastinators. That's how they got to be this age and still need help with their burial expenses.

That is also the reason we have this market. So, God love em for that!

I'm trying to think, what I had for dinner last wednesday, hmmm. I dont remember..:goofy:

When the mailer is vague, do you really think people are going to remember.:skeptical:

As soon as they find out it's life insurance they are going to kick you to the curb.

I don't agree with that or find that to be true. The mailers I use say it's about life insurance. That doesn't mean they remember it any better and when I call them I say, "I'm calling about the request for information about our final expense life insurance that you sent in".

That's does eliminate a few tie kickers that claim that they didn't know it was about "life insurance". Good! I don't want to see them anyway. I consistantly meet with 10 of 15 leads.

There is a box that they check on the lead card that states they want information on final expense.

YES.

How old are the leads from mail drop to you knocking them?

And how are you handling that objection to move around it?

So how do you 3, or anyone else for that matter handle the following objections to get in to the home?

1. "I never filled the card out?"

2. "I was hoping I would receive something in the mail?"
