FE Marketing Ideas

I believe DM leads are your bread and butter. And you should always have those leads coming in. No matter what happens there is always going to be people that need FE. Also those who might not want anything now might want it later on, situations change constantly. I met a guy the other day had a policy for almost 10 years, mailed back the card and he told me that he just could not afford what he was paying anymore and wanted a different policy. I got him the same amount of coverage for $30 a month cheaper. I know FL is saturated with DM but just keep them coming in, you will get some good weeks and some bad. You can also pepper in some cold door knocks in between appointments.

If you have 20 agents mailing in the same area what happens...the law of diminishing returns....I know plenty of very good salesmen that went on to do other sales due to the BS quality of leads.

Most agents won't do a mailing every week. That's the problem. If you do it consistently, you will write business consistently. This is one of the major reasons that agents fail; they just won't invest in their own business.

JD likes to say, if an agent can't make it at EFES, they won't make it anywhere else. Why do suppose that's true? It's because EFES' program is set up to supply leads each and every week. Consistency is the key to this business.

+1 on that!! And if I tried to do it on my own, Im not sure I would....leads every week without fail is the key!

You can not makeup the loss of a mailing by loosing more on subsequent mailings bro. The loss just gets bigger.

I cannot say I agree with you. Yes this batch of leads might not have been good, but usually you never get bad batch after bad batch. As long as you are getting a decent return on your mailings you should be able to hit a decent number of sales without having a lot of skill selling. You should at least get one sale a week. It will usually only take 2 or 3 sales to make a profit on your leads and leave you some money left for yourself. Not a lot but some. But if you are getting a decent return on mailings and not making money off them then maybe look at what the problem really is, like is it my phone skills setting appointments? Or is it my presentation when I get in the door? Or what I say when I am at the door?

Sometimes it is easier to blame the lead than ourselves, I have been guilty of this in the past as I am sure everyone here has at one time. Maybe talk with your upline to get ideas on what you might be doing wrong. Also look into other posts here to get ideas to try, but if you don't keep those leads coming every week especially with DM you will never make it, those have to be steady.
