When you hear about an FE telesales with an invesment in the thousands, and the need for you to buy about 8 non resident licenses, how does this hit some of you?

sounds like they want to make money off you.. keep your check book hidden away...walk before you leap. you can only sell one policy at a time. if you tell us the company and someone will have information on that company, good or bad

Sounds like you've been talking to the Roberts Group. I can help you with FE tele-sales and you don't have to invest 1000's, but you will have to invest $69.95 for a digital recorder, 3 day trip to the closest office to you to be PROPERLY trained, and $480 per week for 20 FRESH, EXCLUSIVE DM leads.

Man - hard to believe I used to sound like Greg on every thread . . .

To the OP - you don't need to spend that kind of money UNTIL you have mastered how to ask for the sale and how to close the sale.

In addition - get with a well established MGA that offers multiple contracts, support and resources.

Run from SL, LH and anything requiring you to pay for leads.

Trust me - I know personally. I helped ruin plenty of young agents careers with my hype and bullchit . . .

Tom,

What line of insurance do you sell now?

See the PDF attached. It's the same story I've heard probably 250 times now from agents who've gone through the same "telesales" hooplah from the finalexpensetelesales folks.

The 3 day training is to teach the agent how to present the product and close the sale.

Agents who get free leads get reduced contracts from practically every ins. group. Of course, there are free leads in the phone book, if that's your cup of tea.

You probably "ruined plenty of young agents careers with hype and bullchit" because you didn't know how to train those agents to be successful....or....you didn't know how to be successful selling FE YOURSELF, or no one ever trained you to be successful selling FE, or you trained any agent who could fog a mirror.

There a lot of failing agents and a lot of failing managers. I guess you fit into the failing mgr. category? If I'm wrong please accept my apology and explain why YOU failed to train agents to be successful.
