In MN almost all agencies are paying 90 new and renewal. Agent is responsible for all other costs of running business. Bonus split is usually 80/20. Producer has own office expenses at separate location.

60 new 50 renewal but I got a starting salary of $30,000. I only get paid commission once my commissions surpass $30,000

Anybody in the southeast who'd be willing to share their producer contract? I'm looking at adding a 1099 producer, commission only and want to make sure I'm being fair to both them and myself.
