While I suspect this kind of thing may be a state-specific issue, there are two cases that stand out to me.

1. As posted on this forum, an agent in northern CA was convicted of selling an "inappropriate" annuity to a senior. AFAIK, he was licensed and appointed until the actual conviction, at which time his license and appointments were revoked. He was later successful in getting the conviction overturned and getting his license and appointments back.

2. An acquaintance and local competitor was convicted of non-financial felonies last year. 20 counts in all for rape and forced sodomy. He was sexually involved with his assistant and forced her to continue on after she tried to call it off. Threatened to fire her if she stopped providing "services" at the office.

She stopped, he fired her, and she filed with the DA. He got 60 years in CA state prison! His appointments and license were revoked upon conviction, but his remaining staff were still running the agency until that point. I heard he sold it upon conviction but have no idea who bought it.

2. That i would consider a Crime of Moral Turpitude and he probably wouldn't be able to get a license again (assuming he got out one day).

I had this discussion with an Admin Lawyer in my network. He basically said; 'Its not a crime of Moral Turpitude to defend yourself. HOWEVER, depending on your local DA, you may be charged for doing such'... Hint NYC, Philly, all areas of CA.

1. He could Have setup the Agency license under an Secondary Owner (his wife). Most agents would do well to do this as 'when they die' (men usually pass first), their wife's can get their Residuals.

2. so, this took place in CA...and he got 60yrs? I'm Surprised they didn't just 'slap him on the wrist' and give him Job-retraining and probation. He's probably the wrong Race.

What is Trump guilty of besides having a big ego? He's not been convicted of anything, in spite of him being investigated continuously for the past 7 years. He's had a LOT of things made up about him since he announced he was running. The same FBI that raided his home, are the same FBI who knowingly participated in the Russian Collusion lie.
