FEX Quote Engine

Had this message in my inbox this morning:

"Welcome to FEX Quotes!

The engine's database has been updated with Settler's recent rate revision along with their new Silver II plan.

I apologize for the delay in this update, but we can only provide updates when we either get the rates ourselves, or another agent or broker provides them to us.

Best,

Adam Barkow"

I am impressed that the update took place over the weekend within 24 hours of my filing support request. Think that qualifies as outstanding customer service.

I noticed Foresters had a nice rate reduction recently. Over age 65 is right in line with the best. Under 65 is better, but Oxford and Wash National still come out ahead there. Still, based on Foresters' underwriting, it's pretty impressive. Good move on their part, I believe.

Curious as to how much cheaper than Foresters on your normal under 65 quote?

Foresters has not changed the rates on PlanRight since it was introduced. Oxford did take a rate increase on Aug. 1 of this year.

Can a beneficiary take out a FE policy with a single premium, i.e a one time pay policy?

FEX Quotes impresses me more daily.. Sent the new Settlers Underwriting Guide this morning and they had it added to the site in less than an hour.. Sent them the UHL Guaranteed Issue (GIWL) rates and they were quoting them about four hours later..
