FEX Quote Engine

I don't think that's the case. I just would like to know how you approach a sales situation knowing that the prospect is price sensitive?

I've never met an FE prospect that wasn't price sensitive. I even guarantee in writing that I get them best value out there on a whole life plan with an A rated company.

And that's what I do. On whole life with an A rated company it's all about the price. Yes, RNA's benefits are nice and Foresters has some nice benefits, too. I use those as sale cementers when I use those companies.

I had a lady yesterday that RNA was $3/mo higher than what I was recommending. I asked her if she thought those benefits were worth $3/mo. They weren't to her.

I've written almost 3000 life applications over the last 8 years. I've had less than a handful replaced.

How can you concentrate on price in the FE market when in most cases the price between the top 5 companies is less than a couple of bucks?
Because we are dealing with a senor market with a very fixed if not dwindling budget. The difference is in a gallon of milk. And not to sound crazy or to type cast but the generation that we are selling to right now that is in need of FE pinches pennies not just because of need but a lot of them went through the depression or a family did and that plays a large role in the life they live.
Like it has been said, your product looks great and I am sure it works for a lot of different people. But its just my mindset to be exact to the best of my abilities however limited they might be.

I use FEX Quote all day long. I've never seen it off 1 time.

If it is ever off 1 or 2 cent, it wont be a problem for my agents or me.

You should see back in the days when I had to figure the rate by myself without any type of software.

Look, just add a few cents to all the premiums and when the price comes back tell them you have a lot of pull. You'll look like an effin hero. GEEZE!!!!!!

Thought about this, but then the rates will have 0% accuracy as opposed to 99.9%

As mentioned at least a half dozen times, when a rate is off it's only by a few cents at most, *and* this is only with a handful of cases. No reason for anal retention over an infrequent and trivial anomoly.

Look, just add a few cents to all the premiums and when the price comes back tell them you have a lot of pull. You'll look like an effin hero. GEEZE!!!!!!
