Final Expense Company Who Take a Credit or Debit Card

I have someone that said her SSI goes into a Walmart Prepaid card. And that she has draft come out of that. Does that sound right. Age 26.

WalMart's Money Card is nice.

They give you an RTE and Account Number for direct deposits and a website to check your balances and transactions. You simply set up SSI with direct deposit to the WalMart Money Card.

Wal-Mart only allows direct deposit into the card using ACH. Not withdrawls.

I second this one. I tried getting my clients in on the money cards for a month until I found out the real deal behind them. The only prepaid cards I've found to work are Netspend and Account Now, but they can only be sent out by signing up online.

5-Star does take them for 1st and recurring monthly payments. If the card ever doesn't draft properly (which sometimes happens with these) they will mail a monthly bill out.

These cards are NOT you most consistant business. But it's good to have the ability to work with them.

If you haven't picked up a 5-Star contract yet, they are one of the hottest FE companies going this year. Great rates, great underwriting and all around good company.

The op's question was about the social security debit card (direct express card). Will 5 star take that one too? Most will not, even if they take cc for payment. Only company I know that takes direct express is Liberty Bankers Life.
