Final Expense Leads

My lead response in louisiana has dropped from 1.5 % to 1.2% since september of 2010. I drop 100-150,000 pieces at a time.

I need 2000-2500 leads per month. Since 1996, I have worked only direct mail leads.If anyone has any ideas to help keep cost down, email me [email protected]

No competition? Here's what I see:

Google...3,410,000 sites for Final Expense and 1,160,000 sites for Final Expense Insurance.

Yahoo...92,200,000 sites for Final Expense and 30,600,000 sites for Final Expense Insurance.

Looks pretty competitive to me. What am I missing?
