Final Expense States

What is earning $175k plus? Is that in your bank account at yr end after all expenses and before taxes? You'll need to gross $300k plus to get those #'s after persistency, lead costs, appt setter fees, gas, car repairs and other out of the blue costs. Probably less than 1 out of a 100 licensed agents will net that.Don't worry about what other agents are doing and put your head down and work 12 hr days.Your already starting off on the wrong foot looking at the place you live as a road block to success.Every area has successful agents no matter how tough it is.Nobody on this board can make you successful. They can show you a road map but ultimately look in the mirror and that's who can make you succeed.

Thanks for that :)

Not starting on the wrong foot. I have an incredibly, if not unrealistically, positive mindset. Anyhow, I was really, as I mentioned, curious about where most of you guys operate. I've spoken to some on here, and most (that I've spoken with) have a bit of a southern accent.... if that's the right word for it.
And the reason I'm curious, is because as I'm sure you're aware, there's a tiny bit of truth-stretching on here when it comes to real numbers.

But in order to net 175, I figured about 250-300 in AP was about right.

Were do you live Pcb? Panama city beach? I'm practically your neighbor.I need a Homewatch man for my beach house.Pays $100 a month. You live near Pier park, front beach road or I bet you live near Captain Andersons?I'll even throw in lunch at the new Donut Hole near Rosemary and i'll buy you a tee shirt at the new avenue.

Yeah, I live in a condo on Thomas Drive (beach) but after over 12 years here, I'm relocating to Sarasota-Siesta Key next month. It's getting too wild around here but they have new laws that will eventually drive most, if not all, of the Spring Breakers away.

I have plenty of guys who could watch your home. PM me. No t-shirt or lunch necessary and you can trust one of my guys. I would like to see a video of you break-dancing though.

Wow Taxa.. er.. Massachusetts isn't on this list. That means either I've got a wide open field to be the first or this state is entirely hopeless. :err:

Upper NY state, but I also go into western MA and CT

Just out of curiosity; and I'd like to get EVERYONE'S opinion and experiences, regardless of location...

Is final expense more "popular" in the southern U.S.? I notice a large percentage of pros here are from Georgia, Florida (obviously ) Kentucky,
Mississippi, etc.

Thanks guys (and girls )

Do you have a game plan and effective sales system?
Are you set up for a regular/weekly lead flow?
Is your primary carrier easy as heck to deal with?

If so, you have everything you'll need to be a top producer and it's all up to you and your work ethic, NO MATTER WHERE you reside.
