Florida Med-Supp Agents....

Looks like MoO is about to be approved in Florida....within the next day or 2...after reading the Friday correspondence from the FL DOI.

Re: Florida Med-Supp filing

Watch it - It's Miss Linda Ziegler - and she's very particular about it. :twitchy:

Oops.....

Miss Linda Ziegler.

Sorry Ma'am.

Anyone know if UCT is applying for modernized plans in Florida? Not sure how their listed on the FL DOI website. I've tried every different way of entering their name to get a filing and it finds nothing.

Looks like AARP may get their modernized plans approved by the end of April. Ironing out some details on their filing now.

Is colonial penn competitive in FL? I don't recall them being?

I thought the deadline was april 15?

Download file # 10-03261...IFWS Filing Search Look at pages 108-127 for the rates. They're right there with the age 65 male non-smoker rate for MoO...here where I live. Their plan N rate is lower than N for MoO.

Sixty-five year-old female non-smoker is less with MoO on plan F then Colonial Penn.

AARP is less expensive vs. Colonial Penn....from what I've seen, except for plan N....they're about the same on N.

Not sure what you mean when you say deadline? Deadline for filing the modernized plans?

I have no idea. I just thought I read somewhere on here that the plans had to be approved by then...obviously not

Got the rates for "unitedhealthcare" but nothing comes up for AARP. Are there seperate rates for them or are the rates for united the same?

If anyone has submitted a MoO med-supp application in Florida on any of the approved modernized plans, the applications can't be issued until the modernized plans are loaded into MoO's system.

Underwriter I spoke with said that wouldn't happen until this Friday, April 30th, 2010. I've got 2 that are pending issued for that reason.

And AARP is still pending for the modernized plans in Florida. I've got a few to submit to them. Please approve it...it's been over 2 months!
