Florida Med-Supp Agents....

Is it even going to be worth writing a Med Supp in Florida when the commission is a flat rate of about $210.00 per year?? I was totally TEE'd off at the meeting today.

It's been $210 per app for a couple of years. I've got 3 waiting to submit to them now. I could use that $482.50 advance. Those several hundred dollar a month renewals are nice too.

What meeting?

AARP released rates yesterday. Here in S Fla (area 1 I believe) F is about $234 and N is $169. That should make life interesting..... (ouch).
:swoon:

S Fla is always has high premiums compared to C Fla. Did your plan F go up in price?

Greensky- Here in C. Fla the F plan for AARP is the cheapest for a male but MoO can be had cheaper for a female if she does not smoke

Hi Russ,
It seems like you are the only one in the world that knows AARP Med Supps are approved in Florida.

Please advise UHC of this matter as no one there knows.
We are all waiting with baited breath for the FL DOI to get their job done and I can't brush my teeth without squishing an earthworm. YUK

In your defense, PHD was saying that the other day too and they were wrong too.

Type in 10-03425...on this link>>>IFWS Filing Search.....as a file log #. It's the file # for AARP's modernized med-supps in Florida. Status says....approved. Approved since April 30th, 2010.

Long time lurker, first time poster...
My contact at UHC/AARP says FL kits will be available on 5/17 (for ordering and downloading).

That's about how long it took Mutual of Omaha too....about 2 weeks. Sounds right...that's next Monday. I keep looking on AARP's website for a release of the modernized apps....in Florida. Still nothing on there yet.

Thanks for the info!

Russ,
Thank you fro the reply and the info.

NO ONE in my UHC corporate upline has said a thing and was specifically asked just a few days ago.

Maybe they need to hire you to run Florida.

Thanks again

I just checked AARP's website. They've added a link for the modernized med-supps in Florida and a download for it. I couldn't get the download to open up a PDF file yet, though. ITEM#>>>M-AARP-E-KFL22 PDF
