Sorry dont have 20 post yet to send a message

Regarding EFES, I sent them info and Chase left me a message. I thought there were only three people to be under, Shannon, Travis(didnt hear back from him) or Joe?
I have heard some on here say you should limit the people in your upline.
I would appreciate your advice on how to go about this.
I am in the South so I dont know if your upline is regional

Also, I have some money to get started in leads, not a ton though,
Thanks in advance for your time

Chase is a National Sales Manager of EFES, the IMO. He's responsible for your lead flow, trainings, & stuff like that on EFES end. Joe, Travis & Shannon are Reg Directors that dont work for EFES directly (they have their own agencies) but are under EFES umbrella with regards to leads, carriers, etc. To work for EFES, u have to be under 1 of their Directors above directly or a manager (who would be under 1 of those directors). Those directors/managers decide your commish & are responsible for pesonalized trainings, ride alongs, etc.

Im sure I might have the titles wrong or a minor detail off, JD would know it exactly....but thats how it works in a nutshell!

I know this is for jdeasy but I'm with EFES and can tell you that you are correct, there are only three Regional Directors. (Shannon Davey, Travis Tubbs, and Joe C.) Chase is a marketer for EFES and will assist you in getting started with the leads, but he will not be "between" you and which ever RD you contract with.

There are only 3 regional directors. There are many agency managers. I don't even know how many. It seems everybody and their brother wants to recruit.:1rolleyes:

They do have protected areas for the RD's. I don't know if your state is in one of those areas. You want to be as close to the RD as possible. Meaning that if you can't work it out to be direct to the RD then try to only have one person between you and the RD. For example, I am direct to Travis. If I were to recruit then you would be under me and you would only have me between you and the RD. If you recruited someone then that person would have you and me between them and Travis.

In the beginning it's not an issue and you would probably never know the difference but over time it would affect you ability to get higher contracts.

Still, it can be of great value to have someone between you and the RD if they offer value for being there. An example I would give is Andrew F in Ga. He is direct to Joe C, the RD. Andrew is as good as it gets on trining and support I heard it said on a call recently that almost 80% of the agents that Andrew brings on makes it in this business. That's an almost unheard of number. Even if it was an inflated boast and it's actually closer to 50% it's still fantastic.

Of the 3 RD's with EFES Travis is the only one that's still in the field producing every week so while he is great for the more seasoned agent he is not so hands on for a newbie.

You are dealing with the right person in Chase. If you prefer to be under the Travis Tubbs group then tell him that. If it's possible Chase will tell you so. If it's not then he will also tell you that.

Thanks all of three of you for the help. Gretly appreciated. Tried LH briefly with FE and it went south in a hurry. Just trying to get all the info I can on the front end this time.

Starting out with EFES, what are fair % commissions on the front end and renewals.
@JD, I will try to get hooked up w Andrew.

I am in MS, and live in a town of 40,000, dont know how close I am going to be to a RD. HOw much do you guys travel for leads

Doesn't matter how close you are to the RD. Joe is in Fl. Travis is Indiana and Shannon is Texas. All of the RD's have some states where you have to be under that RD if are in one of those states. All the states are not assigned so if you are in an unassigned state then you can be under any RD.

If you need hands on support and want to do ride alongs then you need to be under an agency manager that does that. Chase is going to be your liaison between your manager and EFES. The more info you give him in the beginning the more he can help with who you need to be with.

I can't speak to what contracts you can start with. Travis starts agents direct to him at 90% with 4 to 5% renewals. I believe that to be the highest of the managers.

I cover about a 150 mile radius. I do not work my home county by choice so I generally drive an hour to where my appointments are for the day. There will be as many different answers to that question as there are agents running leads.

When I say you to be as "close" to the RD as possible, I mean contractually. Not in actual distance.
