Foresters Changes??

Knowing you... I'm sure you will be holding your breath about any news from Foresters... :D:D:D:D

What's the deal? One guy has been posting here at the forums that big changes are coming, but no examples. I had an email conversation with a top manager at EFES today and he hints at changes to come, but still no details.

Is it top secret or does no one really know?

I predict their rates will increase or their underwriting will be even tighter. And I've never seen one of their apps.

"Even tighter" implies that their underwriting is tight now, which it is not. In fact they are probably one of the easiest to get level coverage through, as long as their cardio meds weren't originally prescribed in the past 2 yrs. Only ACI is easier.

Might want to stick to something you know about, like LH & Sr Life... oh, and write some over here please.... haha

I bet most companies will raise rates soon. Insurance Companies are not making the type of investment they were just a few years ago. I bet a lot of companies will raise rates this year.

That's what I was trying to say 2 posts above, you said it better than me.

All I know is another agent told me Forester's app was 6 pages, I've never seen one.

I write quite a bit in Tenn every month.

I'll take that bet. At least for the FE companies. Americo reduced their rates 15%. Forethought just took a rate reduction. Yeah, some of the high priced companies will probably raise rates. What do they have to lose? More customers??:D

I was thinking more in the Term and UL/GUL areas. Thinner margins. I hope you are correct on the FE policies. Makes sense with longer mortality and less labor intense underwriting.
