Foresters Death Claim?

2 young inexperienced salesmen under employment of Penn Global trying to sell me plan, with tactics like "Medicaid will spend down cash value of whole life policies". Monthly medicaid cuts, other penalties. Very suspicious of this company which sells Foresters

How was buying a Foresters policy supposed to help you with that?

Approached by pushy agents who worked for Penn Global & it took patience to find out they were selling Foresters, wanted to underwrite me even though I told them I had had cancer

Unfortunately I had another agent from the forum call me today about this post. he said he didn't want to talk bad about a company on the forum, but that his opinion was that Foresters was the worst he had ever dealt with on death claims.

Hopefully both of you just had bad experiences and it's not a pattern. I know how difficult they can be be on everything else. That's why I posed the question. I got the answer I was afraid of, but was hoping for different.

Any decision on that death claim yet JD?

Usually around 9-months seems to be their speed of paying a claim...or not.

I have been selling a little FE for the past 3 years, not enough to be an authority. However the information discussed on this thread has been a REAL EYE OPENER.

This is an excellent thread . . .thanks guys.

No decision to my knowledge as of 9-1-12.

In their defense they have had a few holidays to work around.

Let's see, there was New Years Day, valentines day, groundhog day, Easter, 4th of July, Presidents day, and now Labor Day.

Hopefully, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas won't slow them down too much. Then they would be right back in that same vicious circle.

Just call your beneficiary up and explain about the great orphan benefit. That will make them want to buy some more Forresters.
