Foresters F.E. Contract Question

I didn't know I was giving away trade secrets. That's what I've been offered. My old contract with Foresters terminated in Dec. It was thru NAA and was 80%. I've had a lot of offers to re-up with them.

I really don't like doing business with them, but, I may recontract with them thru EFES is they want me to. I haven't even discussed what that contract would be with them.

No worries. I can assure you that I am not the "anal police.".......LOL

I have sold Forester's final expense I wouldn't call them the best. Why are you so high on them? Please don't tell me because of the phone verification. Most companies now tell you on the spot during the phone interview if you have a deal or not. For example, Baltimore Life does this and I wouldn't call them the best.

Who do you believe is the best and why?

If you could only have ONE company, Settlers beats everyone else hands down. For everything except phone sales that is.

I don't know who else would even be a close 2nd.

I think Foresters is a good company not only because of the phone verification but because they are very competively priced. For what you get they are one of the first choices I try to sign any of my clients up with. Not very restrictive on who they sign up, and very easy to work with to fit a clients needs with.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they are the best becuase every company offers something great for different people. But definietly have them in your back pocket to sell through.

Also you get a good discount on E&O through them.

Foresters has great prices for smokers and non smokers. They have no further underwriting past the phone interview. They always answer their phones and are happy to give you quotes. They keep you up to date with all your policies. They have name recognition. They have great commissions.

I'm sure other companies are just as good but I'd say none are better and, honestly, I've yet to find one that I like working with better. However, I'm sure a new and better company will pop up. This seems to be the case with FE. Can't wait til Foresters gets the paperless application approved.

I would have to agree. Settlers is also a great company and I'd say it's a close 2nd to Foresters :) ... I do like some of their products better. It's just that they never answer their phone, their website is always down and they take forever in underwriting. If they improve all those things, I would go with Settlers over Foresters.

I've been writing Foresters for some time now. Very satisfied. Contracted directly through Foresters, no FMO.
I tried to find someone to do Settlers with but they seem to be full up on agents, or that is the impression I got.
