Application Enhancements:
· Includes a 50% reduction in pages. Is easier to use with just one part.

· Provides greater agent engagement and reduces interview time. At the start of the Point-of-Sale interview, agents will provide the interviewer with the client's information to start the interview. This enables the agent to quickly establish the base information for the interview.

· Reflects revised underwriting. Asthma and Depression have been removed from the health questions.

· Offers clarifying premium information for client and agent. Space to document Initial premium and Subsequent premium.

· Reduces pendings:

o New automatic selection of plan of insurance. When the applicant qualifies for coverage, we will issue the plan (Level, Graded, or Return of Premium, where available) for which the applicant qualifies. This eliminates the need to have our agents confirm a different plan when, for example, the application is received for Level and the applicant qualifies for Graded.

o The HIPAA form is within our new application, eliminating the hassles resulting from a separate document.

Submission Process Improvements:

· Includes greater agent engagement to get the interview started quickly.

· Requires the completion of the Point-of-Sale interview with the applicant and during Apptical's hours of operation, reducing pending applications awaiting post-submission interviews.

I think FT has made some good, functional improvements for the FE product.

The first App we sent Forethought went from Standard to Graded due to a med that came up during the POS... Aparrently he took this a year ago for something minor... We sent the App up with another Insurer and got him Preferred... That's my first experience with Forethought and the reason I bring it up is that I was told they did stuff like that... Soo... they will never see another app from us again..... Atleast I gave them a shot, even though I was warned!

Ohh, and this was 2 weeks ago...

My latest disappointment with ForeThought was yesterday. I needed something extra to get them to act because the had just recieved their new CUMA policies the bought at the credit union CUMA. ForeThought to the rescue and I sold hard on the grandchild benefits.

He was perfect health but a mild depression med turned up. He was rated up. Just about ruined both sales but I convinced him to go through one more interview and all was good.

I guess I'll give them another chance if they are fixing the depression thing. Shoulda been a week sooner though.

Rates aren't too competitive, and their multi-part application really rubbed me wrong. Once they get rid of the POS aptical, I will start using them.

Anyone have an opinion on their annuities?

They have tweaked them down now. Their original bonus 25 was real good for people who wanted to start the income stream early. They used to have a walk away annuity with 5-% bonus and no fee income stream that was good too.

Right now they don't have anything too great but they are an innovative company with annuities. Worth keeping an eye on.

I saw that email yesterday and thought that maybe I should add them back into the mix. Took out my Rx guide to see which meds should drop off with the new changes. That's when i remembered their Rx knockout list is 25 PAGES long.

Until I can see different, yesterdays decision was a step in the right direction but it's just that, one step on a very long journey back to where the rest of the market is.
