Frank Rumbauskas Cold Calling

My intention is to load the fax numbers into a program and let it do it's thing. I still need to plow through the numbers myself. When I call back in a few days, maybe they just might remember something they saw.

Will keep you posted..

Try it and see if it works. If so, run with it. If not, cut bait and do something else. That's the only way to know for sure. That being said, make sure you don't invest a lot of pay time hours into getting it up and running.

We have recently secured several meetings using "work-site" marketing for long term care and would be open so sharing our experience as we develop best practices.
We would consider teaming up with brokers and agencies - who may be interested in trying this approach.
Some of the Genworth products have interesting features -that make them great for this methodology

Honestly, how many junk faxes even get looked at? I get them all the time from FMOs, can you guess what happens to them?

If they do remember your fax, they will probably have a less positive impression of you.

Sending faxes without permission can result in fines. So make sure you get permission to send a fax - EACH time.

If you do send a fax... I would recommend that you do it in the way it is outlined in "Five Minutes with VITO". Send the fax about 1 hour before your scheduled call to introduce yourself. The fax isn't a flyer, but your pre-approach letter that also outlined the day and time of your introductory call.

Fax marketing was covered in Frank's book (on page 123) but it isn't intended for the US markets.

I also agree with Full Throttle - flyer & fax marketing is a waste of time in my experience. Unless you turn your flyer into a "pre-approach" piece where YOU follow up... it won't get anywhere. You would need to distribute flyers by the THOUSANDS (which is what Frank advocates) before you see ANY return.
