Hey Guys,

What insurers have the best rates on Fully Underwritten whole life? I ran into a nice case where the 75 year old Female has a 3 year old Old Mutual policy that I would love to replace. I have Royal Neighbors. Who else has competetive rates for 25k and up?

thanks in advance:)

No one comes close to RNA's Essential Life. Except maybe Cinn Life. You say you already have RNA. Why look further. I'm sure it blows away the OM.

Does OM even have whole life? They didn't when I wrote them. Of course they don't sell term now so maybe they went into whole life?

Below $50,000 is some what limited. I think Ohio National goes down to $50,000. Cinci goes down to $10 or 15,000. (non Med <60 to 99K) But if you have RNA for the around $25k just write them. I have looked at their cash values so that would be a consideration. When comparing.

Being that this is the FE forum I assume you are not talking $100,000.

I dug up an old policy review I did on a 62 year old N/S woman. She had just taken out an AGLA plan for 57.25 (25K) and the RNA quote I did for her was for 62.29. She was diagnosed with Type 2 about 10 years ago. Now that I think about it this poor old woman could have been sold a UL. At the time her policy wasn't in yet...I should go by and see her. I hate ULs. :nah:

AGLA has whole life but it will never beat RNA in price for the same person. She had an AGLA UL. Probably with a 7 yr guarantee. That's what the ones I run into have.

If my memory serves she said the agent told her it was WL but for it to beat RNA like that it sure sounds like a UL. At the time I just took her word for it since the policy wasn't issued yet. I hate it when agents sell older people UL's and not care how long the damn thing will last.

Yes, this was an Old Mutual Whole Life, the client has 35k of coverage for $191 a month.. She's had the policy for 3 years! She's a 75 yr old diabetic so when I priced RN with a Table 4, I wasn't in the ballpark... Anyway, the daughter is a different story. She's young, healthy, and I am saving her money and giving her better benefits...

That sure sounds like their SecureMaster UL. If you saw the policy it must not be.

Every person I've ever found with a non-guaranteed UL would swear on a stack of bibles that it's whole-life.

They always think that since they've had it for many years and the rate never changed that it's fine.
