Fun Question! How big was your largest individual policy sale?

I wondered into a VERY poor neighborhood one day with a Final Expense Lead Reply card in hand. I sold this retired preacher a Final Expense policy for $45.00 per month. As I was leaving I mentioned "By the Way" we have other products/Services available. Never would have thought it, This guy was going broke paying taxes at the bank on his CD's. I sold a 75,000 ap for 5 years on a VUL policy. Now I always use the "By the Way" technique when I leave a home.

I once sold a guy in his 70's a homeowners policy. He couldn't see very well so I had to blow up the policy onto 17"x22" paper. That still is the largest policy I've ever sold.

*rimshot*

That is truly hillarious. My biggest was 100K/yr. I wish I had 10 10k premium instead. I got so lazy afterward the money just went shhhhhhooom ..

When you guys talk about your highest sale, and say a 500k annual premium. And then talk about the commission off that.. Are you saying you made 85 percent of 500k?
