Georgia Health Insurance and Google

Georgia health insurance is one of the terms I check on Google from time to time to see how my site stacks up. When I looked it up this morning I noticed my landing page was #5 on page 1 of Google, but my Quotit engine is also on page 1 at #9.

My landing page has a PR3 while the Quotit site has a PR0. I know Dave Miller says page rank is mostly irrelevant, but I am curious if anyone else has their quote engine high within Google?

I don't recall ever seeing a Norvax engine showing up on Google and wonder if this is something unique to Quotit.

My guess is that it has nothing to do with Quotit, it is all the "Google Juice" you are giving it from your website.

In any event, congrats!

Could it be that Quotit.net has a higher ranking than the domain Norvax uses for their quote engine info entry and results pages? See Quotit has everyone who uses Quotit login to the system at Quotit.net. This does not just include their broker customers. Anyone who logs into Quotit like HealthNet Farm Burea user, GA logins, etcs. Maybe this traffic to the domain is boosting the ranking beyond Norvax quote engine landing page. Oh, plus the domain has been around longer.

I am no expert just a little two cents

This happened to me to with my site. I actually contacted Norvax as I didn't want to be sending all of my link juice to them. They give you two choices and because I don't javascript from the ancient Egyptian manuscripts I found in that cave when I was hunting for treasure, I ended up doing the cardinal seo sin of framing. This is not optimal but it is much better then sending them all of your traffic if you are generating anything substantial.
Today my quote page still ranks for certain terms (I have quite a few) but what can you do.
Of course I know less about SEO then I know about shaving a cat, but that still doesn't excuse what I did. So if anyone has a better idea or was able to get around this more effectively I would welcome the advice.

I never even considered getting the quote page up in the rankings. Maybe I should l should try to figure that out this afternoon. Or...I could watch the Steelers game. Oh, that's right. I'm in Ohio so the Browns and Bengals will be on.

It wasn't by design, just happened. Don't know how, or why it happened that way. Don't really care since someone filling out a quote generates a notice (lead) to me.
