Get Ready for A Individual Black Out

The carriers however will not stop issuing business at anytime. That is a ridiculous assertion in my opinion. There is going to be no blackout. Carriers may change the plans they are selling but will not stop at any time issuing policies.

Good, because you are. But the hysterics are appreciated.

Have you guys talked to your sales reps about it?

I have two different sources one from GR and the other from Wellpoint that told me they were very concerned. Wellpoint rep said there is a very good chance of a freeze on new individual sales.

My GR guy is in training all day today about whats going to happen Sept 23rd.

Please contact your sales reps and get there feedback on this issue.

Why is so difficult to believe this could be a possibility?

State DOI can take a very long time to approve a new plan design. How many people work in the a State DOI?

Like I said I hope I am wrong but everyone should have communications with their sales reps.

ABC could be right, but I still say it is political posturing. GR has been trying to get new policy series approved in GA for almost 4 years. No word on current filings.

BX has filed for new policy series and they usually get things approved quickly.

Apparently Assurant has a new plan coming out called Clarity.....this should be interesting......meeting in Atown is Aug 24th......

not sure...have to look at my quote engine.....hot dahammm...I guess I do sell it....
