Did you guys get a chance to call your individual sales reps on this issue?

Your sales reps will return your phone calls right?
 
Let me tell you this - your individual sales rep know about as much as what's GOING to happen as my next door neighbor.

I would agree with you on that but its still the first level of contact for brokers/agents.
 
Having conversation with GR via email this afternoon. They are non-committal . . .

This is higher up than a sales rep.
 
One of my carriers will be "blacking out" briefly, but only one. They are closing their current block and rolling out new plans, the only problem, the DOI is taking their time approving the new plans and may not have them done by 9/23. The other four carriers aren't rolling out new plans, just modifying the current one's to conform. Hardly a blackout here!
 
FWIW...I have spoken to five major carriers about this (at fairly high levels). They aren't talking and if they are talking, you aren't allowed to repeat it.

So...in due time, we'll all find out. And it may not be bad as you think. But for some, it will be horrible. Just depends on your perspective.
