Going INDY

Hello -

I have been a captive agent (on and off) since 1995.... and now I'm going indy.

However, I don't know anything about how to go about this.

I remember seeing an agent go online and request appointment with about 100 insurance companies. Is that how it is done?

I appreciate any and ALL feedback!

I am most familiar with Life Insurance; however, I want to get into the LTC market. I have completed the CE for the Partnership LTC, as well.

I am licensed with JH; however, it was under Senior Solutions- so I'm not sure how I can get released and be solely under JH.

I sold a few MA's..... (Today's Options).... and I found myself wishing I was appointed with the Blues- or even Kaiser! Just having the TO to offer - was disappointing.

I don't think there's any active agents on this board focusing on LTC.
