This might be "cool" and "fun" as you see it, but what about all those who are not chosen as "the best."

Probably there will be mass suicides. People will read that they have not been chosen and immediately drink the Kool-Aid and this website will end out looking like Jonestown.

Typical liberal San Francisco reaction. Someone sneezes and immediately your self-esteem is at risk for the next three generations and you want to sue for damages or speak out to protect people who can take care of themselves better than you can. I got a great Californian idea. Let's not only not do this, let's pass a law against it and fund counseling programs for those who have been victimized by it.

Why is it that this community attracts a disproportionate number of... what can I call them... the word is over-used here... but there is none more accurate... a$$holes.

Look at what Winter posted? "PREPARATION H"? How much more of a personal attack might one post? This forum seems to attract people who can't work with the general public so they hang here in the hope they can get some self-esteem from others of a similar personality structure.

How else can you explain the constant discord and xenophopic responses we see from so many here... like Winter's above?

Now you know that Sam and I don't agree on much... and don't even like each other much... but I think for the most part we do a good job being civil to each other when we have said disagreements. And I believe that he wanted us to engage in civil discourse in helping him decide if this voting concept was a good one or bad one.

I've responded that it is a bad one. And yet all I get is ridicule... and now scatological attacks.

I don't know why many of you are in the "helping" business. I don't know how many of you survive in this business. I look at the personality of Winter and I wonder if he is just "acting out" here and that in person he is a warm, kind, helpful human being... what I think an agent has to be in order to be successful.

You folks really think that this community is capable of engaging in a beauty contest without it degenerating into a cesspool of plain meanness? I don't see it... and that's why I've expressed my opinion. Men like Winter simply reinforce that view.

Oh, and Winter about the Prep H. I've suffered from "roids" for many years. I know you find that humorous, but I also know that if it had been you, you would not find it so funny. I pass this advice along. Forget the commercial preparations. Instead use something some of you rural folks will know... it is called Bag Balm. Over the many years I've had this affliction I find that BB is the "weapon of choice" for this ailment.

Winter. You must really be a happy guy now. You can make "roid" jokes about me from now until... you actually write a real case and help a real client... which I fear will be a long, long time away.

You're just another malcontent on this list... ready to pounce on anyone they disagree with. You do this well. This seems to be your calling... denigrating people... not helping them. Tell me again why you are in the insurance business?

I just noticed this post. It certainly has taken some crazy turns.

Here's an additional idea: On the Steelers Forum, we have the annual "Stemmy Awards." (See pic below)

Not just one award, but different awards for different categories. Such as..."Most influential poster", "Best newcomer", "Nice guy" etc...

I don't know if that would work on this Forum, or what categories would be appropriate...but just something to consider.

Ahhh, I don't know. I tend to think that Al is right about the Bag Balm being effective. Let's face it, if the guys in San Francisco tell you what is good for a sore bum you gotta believe it has been field tested under grueling conditions.
