Google to Post Real Time Twitter Feeds

Social Search from Google and Bing: My 8 Big Concerns - PC World

I'd like Dave Miller's take on this but from what I'm reading everyone here should have a Twitter account. If Google starts indexing real-time Twitter posts and I'm posting about "Maryland health insurance" that would result in a good deal of traffic.

Not really sure, It will take time to see how they manage the results, and how the results will be handled. Each Industry will be different, I am sure. But like anything else, People will grab a twitter account, post something salesy about Free Illinois Quotes and the results will once again be useless in providing good relevant content about the Subject.

So really, I am not sure how all this will work. But I do know Fresh Relevant Content based on the Keyword Phrases Searched will always be sustainable in the Ranking structure. I cant see how millions of tweets will have any lasting results, due to its designed around instant updated information that is happening now, thus Michael Jackson Died.

The information has to become stale at some point, and the whole issue of the information being correct or have authority that normal search engines require and base that on individual ranking.

I just cant see how these tweets will become part of the permanent index of results, and have sustainable measurable results.

So I guess tweeting about Michael Jackson buying health insurance in Georgia won't do me much good, huh?

How about Elvis?

I think Lisa Marie at different times was the beneficiary on policies held by each of them.

I did see Elvis last week by the way. I told him how much I enjoyed "Jail House Rock" and that I always thought of the title musical scene as the first rock video. He really opened up after that. We talked about today's music industry and the health care reform proposals.

He's lost weight. Looks good.

This is just speculation but:

Tweeting might be a way to get a temporary bump in the SERPs for a page you link to, especially if there is low competition for the targeted keyword.

Also, it might be a way to get a new page or site indexed more quickly, although there are other ways to do that.
