I spent some time talking to the guys over at GPM and wanted to remind you guys about their graded death benefit...

Graded death benefit pays equal commission to the level death benefit...and they have a good graded product.

I've never known of a company to Pay less commissions on graded. maybe modified but not graded.

Government Personnel Mutual. They specialize in government, military, etc....they also have a really great final expense division.

I must be missing something, because the companies I write all pay less for graded...with the exception of GPM. I also only write a few carriers.

I'll give a free plug to GPM, if you're not writing them, you should! Only downside is a post sale interview...but any good agent shouldn't have a problem with it.

If you guys aren't using them, it's definitely worth checking out for their final expense and easy issue for underage people too.

I don't know what carriers you use, but ACI, Foresters, and Monumental all pay the same on graded as level. I've never seen a reason to pick them up, but glad they are working out for you.

I bet these guys specialize in payroll deduction... graded FE is popular in group plans/payroll deductions. I could have sworn I bumped into one of these not too long ago, the guy belong to a union, and had a crappy FE graded whole life policy.

I could be way off on this though

You could be right. I do know that they are more of a niche company... They have specific product divisions and usually agents don't mix...I only have a contract to sell the final expense and cannot sell to groups for payroll deductions...

The final expense product is very good and the rates are very competitive also. They have a standard level, graded, and modified plan. It's called the Secure Mark.
