My client wants to buy a final expense policy for his brother who is on Kidney Dialysis. I usually don't sell Final Expense is there a policy out there for him.

Re: Guarenteed Issue Final Expence

There are several products out there that are not GI that he should qualify for. Off the top of my head Lincoln Heritage and Monumental would work. By not going GI you're going to save them a bunch of money and have shorter graded periods.

Re: Guarenteed Issue Final Expence

I posted in the other thread;

There are only a couple of true GI plans out there. There are several that claim to be GI, but, ask questions anyway.

MoO is a true GI and the best priced. The insured has to be over 45 years old. Americo has a true GI for those over 50. It's very expensive. More than double the cost of MoO. Presidential has a near GI that work for your client as long as he is 40 years old.

Under 40, the offerings are even more limited.

And I'll add, UHL has come out with a new pretend GI. It's not. It would work for dialysis, but, it's a 3 year graded and it's outrageously priced.

Re: Guarenteed Issue Final Expence

Darn it!! Please don't tempt us UHL, I don't know what we do if we have to hear another silly execuse for UHL declining someone.

UHL will not takes Aids. IF you write it, they will take it and issue it, but they will end up firing you for doing it later.

Click Here for the agent guide.

It will take Kidney Dialysis. That guy has very few options and should be glad to get anything.

There are several reasons they won't take someone on their "GI" plan. How the hell they can call it GI is beyond reasonable explanation.

For the ones they will take, it's a 3 year graded and they will charge the agent back 100% for death in the first year and 50% for death in the second year. On top of that, the agent has to sell 3 of their other policies for every one of the GI they sell in order to keep the opportunity to sell this pretend GI.

Is there an agent out there falling for that garbage?

I do not sell any ROP plans. Those rules are stacked against the agent that did all the work and the plans are inferior to the MoO plan. I will gladly give people the number to MoO and let them get a better plan at a better price and I can look myself in mirror.

I referred a guy to MoO yesterday that had met with several agents and they had all paited some rosy picture of other companies ROP plans. He was only only looking for coverage for him self, but, when he realized that I was first agent that had shot straight with him, he took out a policy on his wife and son with me. I left there with $85/mo. in premium because I had sent him elsewhere.

He had been told that $10,000 ROP would cost him $130/mo. The MoO was $55/mo. He now has a better plan for himself and $25,000 whole life on his wife and son each for a total of $140/mo. He is absolutely thrilled. He called me again today to thank me.

Other agents tell me all the time that I am leaving money on the table to not sell those ROP plans. I don't believe I am. In fact, I believe just the opposite.

I should have specified, I was not just referring to the UHL supposedly "GI plan", which is not one but referring to all UHL life products.
