Guaranteed Issue for Applicant on Dialysis?

I am a captive agent and do not sell guaranteed issue but here is the situation I need help with...my friend's father is 60 years old, on dialysis, has controlled high blood pressure with medication, and diabetes that is pretty well controlled with insulin. Could he still possibly qualify for guaranteed issue/graded benefit policy for final expenses? If so, any companies that you would recommend? Thanks!

Sure, there are plenty of companies that he would qualify for with a Guaranteed issue policy. These policies are only limited by age and 60 qualifies.

Heck, there are quite a few companies that would write him without having to go the guaranteed issue route.

For GI, check out Vantis, United Home Life, Mutual of Omaha (direct).........Good luck!

Can you tell us which companies would take him, being on dialysis, that isn't GI?

This would be a Vantis or MOO product. Both are about the same in Premium and have a 2year ROP with full death benefits after.

Sure, I have had clients approved with Lincoln Heritage as well as Monumental for dialysis. (Graded death benefit but not GI)

That's not graded, it's still ROP and it's highly overpriced for what they can get elsewhere.

Quite misleading in how you posted it.

I stated my information exactly how monumental states it on their application.

"If One Question in Part B2 Is Answered "Yes", The proposed Insured Is Eligible For The Graded Death Benefit Product. Proceed to Part C1."

The dialysis question is in part B2

I am here to assist with the original question and yes the prospect can qualify for other plans than GI. That was all I was stating.

I was not trying to mislead, trust me...........

Can they qualify for other than GI? "Yes". That's all I said.

now thats callin a spade a spade

.....and how does your post contribute to the originals posters' question?

I thought this forum was here to educate and assist........I'm just not understanding the usefulness of your post.

Good day, anyway.

Your implication was that they could get something better than an ROP plan. They can't. That is what was misleading.

I can't see where the "help" was that you are talking about.
