There are only discount plans in Florida for seniors without Medicare. IMG is travel ins up to 12 months and the State plan goes to age 64, of course. The immigrant seniors will have to pay for their regular care here and fly to their home country for serious illness.

IMG can be purchased well beyond age 64. I have sold it to several foreign nationals over 65.

It helps to know what you are talking about when discussing options with clients.

IMG was my first instinct too but the pre existing coverage would be pretty scary

Then don't do anything.

I suppose they can get coverage thru Medicaid. Everyone else who comes here (legally or otherwise) doesn't seem to have a problem.
