Monti, if this cuts the throat of ehealth and gohealth I could not be happier... if we have to do all enrollments direct online... like by the way I did all mine last year...... then I see that as more juice for me

I wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Maybe if ehealth and gohealth can do it they have to allow others to do it....a Legality issue...so if they don't want everybody to do it.... they can't let anybody do it....just speculating here.
However I would be very surprised if they didn't let ehealth and gohealth.....they would just grant them "Grandfathered Status" or something clever and block everybody else from doing it. Par for the course.

We are plugged directly into CMS and neither the healthcare.gov site nor any other website can do enrollments outside the Open Enrollment. They (CMS) had on their calendars to finish the coding to make it possible but it was pushed off the current road map and has not (at least as of a couple weeks or so ago) not been put back on other than "future".
Once next OE starts up then it will be possible via HC.gov and companies such as ours which provide an agent enrollment solution.

To clarify, HC.gov does not currently provide ability to do full enrollment outside of open enrollment, requires a phone call until next OE.
Hi Kenny, sorry man your wrong... .you can and I have done enrollments online outside AEP, did one 5 minn ago......
