Health Sherpa

Hello all!

I'm Ning with HealthSherpa. We listened to everyone's feedback, and we wanted to let you all know that we are dropping the price to a one time fee of $25 per submitted enrollment. Enrollments work during both SEP and OEP. In addition, you get the following:

1) Management dashboard to track all pending and completed enrollments, including exports for claiming commissions.

2) Publishable link that you can market and share with consumers, allowing them to enroll. Any signups through that link get your NPN on the enrollment, at the same price point as above. The site will also have your logo and phone number if you set those in your account settings.

You can see all the details and signup form at:

www DOT healthsherpa DOT com/agents/new

Thanks!
Ning

You just got my vote, I will place all my ACA Exchange business through Health Sherpa, it is a huge time saver.

Wise business move, health sherpa. You built a working yet simple website when the government-chosen US & Canadian teams couldn't, and now you are making wise decisions about how to gain revenue. So far, good choices.

OK, I enrolled and uploaded a logo all set however I wonder where I can find the "link" that I can share with my clients? BTW, im thinking Ning will respond here.

How does the dashboard board look? I don't have a chance to look till Monday

Ning, two suggestions for you:
  • Agents don't necessarily represent every carrier on the Exchange-in Florida, you either represent Florida Blue or the others but not all of them. I can't send a link to a client with all of the companies on the list, if they enroll in a Florida Blue plan there is no compensation.
  • The plans aren't searchable by Metal Tier, it is just by the answer to the question about health on the left side of the screen-we should be able to search for plans by Metal Tier, it's that way on healthcare.gov

Does anybody knows are this guy legal (Healthsherpa)
and is this possible.
They claiming does they have right to buy pass
Government Healthcare web site.
On their website whole application is about 15 minutes
and the subsidy is included in application.
Please share your experience.

Hi everyone,
These Sherpa guys looks pretty interesting as a time saver, although I don't understand how you can circumvent the following without loosing legitimacy with the Market Place:
-A Market Place app with your own user and password
-Illegibility results as backup
-Make eventual changes to income, household etc
-Receive up to date feedback from the marketplace
and maybe others I forget.

Does it concern anyone that one of the owners is licensed in every state??

I am a little concerned about providing all my clients info thru the site and the owner is licensed. Is there some agreement that he will not go after your business?

I used it briefly last year for leads (before they integrated with hc.gov). Although I did not receive much volume (5?), the one I was able to speak with was an enrollment. I guess I would like a little more assurance that my business submitted will stay my business.

They have to be licensed in every state to allow you to sell through them. Same as any GA. Norvax is also licensed in every state. It's a Non-issue.

Since Ning didn't include actual link, here it is:

Also NING, not only do we and our clients need to sort by metal tier, but we need to be able to sort by carrier(s) too, and by HMO vs PPO's. I'm assuming also that your site shows CSR plans.
