Andrew Jackson folded but I don't reckon JNL ever went under. They are still in business as a Pru subsidiary.

JNL was a hot term carrier a few years ago but haven't heard of them in a while. Checking their website it appears they no longer write term.

But I could be wrong about that as well . . .

You are about to tell your age. There was a time it seemed every Independent GA had JNL and Time Insurance in their kit. Now, you don't hear very much about either of them.
