Help Please!

Hi, i am in need of some guidance. I am looking to become an insurance agent and need to know what I have to do to become one. Are there any classes i need to take, what exams do I need to take through my state, what are my costs, can I become an agent selling through multiple companies or do I have to stick with one? Any help would be greatly apreciated! Thanks in advance
