Help & Recommendations with Hardware

A little overwhelming reading some of the recent topics, but I need to address these issues before I make any moves. Trying to keep costs down initially like everyone else.

Current Needs:
1. Wife and I will be working out of our home so we'll need 2 lines initially. 2 of us cold calling initially in 2 seperate offices in our home. Hope to hire a telemarketer asap.
2. 800 number.
3. Dialer system. I'm a bit confused how dialer works with voip or do you pick one over the other?

Any recommendations for our phone situation of 2 callers initially with room to grow? Many of the voip discussions had info for 1 agent which I'm sure is an apples/oranges comparison.
