alfa doesn't want to do homeowners anymore. people want to have the home/auto discount. your book will decrease because of the mandatory rise in deductibles and non renewals.
life is number one with management but people see them as a pnc company. pnc is what grows your book, so you will be chasing your tail.
however, they will train you well and ary body has to start somewhere.

if i had it to do over again, i would work as a producer for an independent agent for a few years. maybe easier to get on at alfa with no experience though. no experienced people who don't know how ridiculous it is to work for 50% comish on life and not be able to sell new homeowners seems to be their bread and butter
