Hello, my name is Aidan, a newly licensed for Life, Health, and Accidental agent this past Oct 16th.
I have lurked this Forum site for the past 7 days and deeply appreciate all the available information.
Quick props To David H. Kinder (AKA D.H.K.) because a lot of this post is about 50 ~ 70% related to his info.

Before you continue, understand I am trying to become a person who "sticks to his guns" and become extremely conscientious; orderly & industerious.
I understand up to 90% of agents fail. I will be that 10%. I will work 90 hours a week to get at the top.
I just need to learn how.

Originally I had aimed to be a captive agent this past summer, but that was thrown out because of family.
Now family friends, associated with WFG, had convinced my family about being an agent.
If they may see this, Thank you from all of my being I will always be grateful to you both, you both did something I have yet to do.
On august 31 I passed the exam.

Since this will be a new thread I hope this will help new agents.
With my ups and downs I have now researched the occupation.
this is a little of what I have looked at

A link to my notes ( please excuse how I organized)

Insurance Notes Post

and a few reference links, I have found most beneficial.

Everything past this point is all bark no bite, until I made a decision this coming week.

On to my questions

------The questions and problems for the now

I have no budget yet and still need to learn how to do it fully.

Should my email and number and address be listed on the California DOI site instead of WFG's?

Should I leave WFG?

Should I Join a cluster, IMO/FMO ToddKing (haven't researched), aggregator (haven't researched), MGA, GA etc…?

Should I just become a captive agent?

If I do leave WFG, what does leaving look like, contracts and legality-wise because I am pretty much unaware of How I am associated with them legally.

What are my taxes or where can I go learn about them?

What employment type am I and where can I learn this too?

Currently living with my parents will this be an obstacle?

Mentor, to find or not to find? Never had one so I don't know what that will be like.

Sales training, Prospecting, Fact-finding any pitfalls I should watch out for?

------The questions and problems for the later no need for answer

Hiring what is that like, I know I'm definitely not doing this on my own later on

Taxes, What are they like

Employment type

------The questions and problems I haven't seen

Many criticisms are very much appreciated actually the more the better

------What questions do you all have for me

Any or everything I’ll try to be as transparent as possible without revealing anything confidential.

------Thanks and appreciations too...

If there is two of these threads I apologize I dont know how the first wasn't posted or deleted, and I only see this one on my end. thank you for all that reply.

Too many questions in one post. Try only a few at a time.

However, kudos to you to being a good student, taking notes, and trying to work with all the information provided!

I have no budget yet and still need to learn how to do it fully.

I would invest money into skill development rather than lead generation.

I'm sure you've got $50 somewhere.

$1 for 30 days of online video training:
https://www.insuranceproshop.com/insurance-sales/

$37 to learn the best referral training (in my biased opinion):
Products - Intensive Coaching for Financial and Insurance Professionals | Build Confidence, Improve Communication, Lead

Here's ONE way to get started in prospecting:

Now, if you want to learn an Explanation of Services... that will cost more ($397), but I believe you'll have a far better prospecting approach.
