Hiring Telemarketers...Pay Per Lead or Hour?

I would invest in a dialer, that way you know when and how long the person was logged in, how many calls were placed, and how many touches the person produced.

There is one on the forum that you can use for $49.00 for the 1st month.

most telemarketers get paid 10-15hr, i got paid 12 plus commish back in 2002, sooo. I thought the same. since they burn out, there are too many variables. experience, personality. If one had a telemarketer personality profile that allowed one to figure base plus commish. I would personally pay 9-11 bucks an hour, and have a commish at 5-10 a lead. Monitor the calls with a dialer, and see the calls made etc. give ass whooping reminders from time to time

Mine are paid based on a weekly total. "Either/Or" basis takes an hourly rate of $11/hr or a per lead rate of $15 each. Whichever is higher....we've never encountered a problem with lead volume so mostly they are being paid on a per lead basis. Re-evaluating effectiveness would be unavoidable if I were faced with someone turning in hourly averages with minimal lead count.
