Hello to all, I am needing some assistance -
Thankfully our personal lines in our agency is looking much better and we are getting a bigger flow of inquiries for HO Quotes. I am in need of a website/software recommendation to find valuation of homes and some type of way to locate fire hydrants in the vicinity of the parcel. Help?

Personally I am NOT a fan of any of these rebuild programs, however E2 is one of the better ones, in my opinion.

This one is pretty accurate.

some type of way to locate fire hydrants in the vicinity of the parcel.

That's easy. Google Maps. Enter the property address. Go to street view with the little orange man. Then you can move up and down the street virtually and quickly find the nearest hydrant.

Are you looking for public details of a property? Many municipalities have property search look ups that give very detailed info like year of construction, square footage, etc & even a diagram & pictures in some cases. Maybe its me but I do not find that this arc tool works for many locations here in CA. I could be wrong or inept though.

@Allen Trent, @marindependent , I was messing around with the ARCGIS WEB and it doesn't work for my area either (Google Chrome)

Didn't work for me in Edge or IE 11. Brought up a map with my address but didn't show the hydrant on the corner.

It seems to work in parts of Florida, but I just do not think that Cali is loaded into it. Seems like a super cool system, would use it weekly if it worked.

The fire hydrant question is usually best answered by knowing the town, the streets, and asking the clients. Google maps can be a good fallback - but even that can be a huge time suck.
