What companies are writing homeowners insurance in Texas? My typical carriers are declining EVERYTHING or telling me it will take 7-10 days to get a qutoe?!?!?

More profitable for carriers to invest cash at 8-11% mortgages & bonds rate now with no expenses than to use the surplus & reserves to write premium at record claims rates & record expenses. Interesting times

Update: I did have a conversation with one well known carrier. I was advised no new appointments until at least until 2028.
Any personal lines agents read these posts? Who are you writing business thru?
