It also depends on your Rater and Management system and how automated you are. With automation I say 500-600 households.

10m on CRS- Nope....All wrong! Completely wrong.

Each house hold is 3k in WP (Ave) x 500 = 1.5m in WPishy.....reduce the prem to 2k per household x 500 you are at 1m. And that's where I would put the line in the sand.

Can an agent handle more than 500 alone- YES! But then they burn out like Ins1478 when shooting for 1500 per CSR. Doable- YES! Suggested- Personally- no.

The other issue is what is the book size when that CSR starts? Did they walk into a 500 household book and then as it grew, found themselves having less free time? Did they walk into an agency where they were handed 1000 households and they are busy from day one. We've been growing and it can be an issue.

You scale out the business you already know and do well at, and invest the excess cash-flow into income producing real estate.

You just need to get your "systems" in place. Until your agency runs as if you're not there, your agency will run you. (into an early grave!)
