I Have Too Many Effing Contracts

With companies going out of business left and right, I'm not sure if you can have too many contracts.

Don't forget about my post on don't have all of you eggs in one basket, but then again you don't have to have tons of them. I think the avg life agent needs 2 to 4 contracts. If you don't use it in 1 year, then drop them.

I always want to make sure that I have a couple of companies to be able to get the clients a good price.

For anyone who was curious, my weekend was delightful!

I've learned quite a bit and am a better agent for it. Now, one last question before I fade away into the night:

There's one product I don't have that I'd like. Medically underwritten term with ROP. I know ING can do it - anyone else?

ROP is great stuff, its been an great alternative for those clients who don't need permanent insurance but don't want to 'throw money away'. I've even had some clients bring up the ROP products when I failed to mention it!

Carriers that I've used for ROP include ING, Prudential, and AXA, however there is speculation that there will be alot of changes in the cost structure or companies may even give ROP the axe.

I hope this helps, and little side note: try a brat burger... simply amazing.

Methinks some of you pine for the days of being captive agents, when life was simpler and your relatives and friends avoided you.
