I don't think someone with a standard life agent license in CA is allowed to charge a fee to a client. I never heard of anyone doing so.

Maybe with group you can do that?

Uh, its not insurance Al, you can charge whatever you want. Just don't charge a fee for insurance advice if you don't have a California Consultant License.
