How does this Obama quote line up in any way with all non-Grandfathered plans being eliminated in 2014?

This will take people with comfortable premiums and make them pay, in many cases, 300-400% more in premium for a bronze or silver plan when they are perfectly content with their current plan.

I have no clue, maybe some of you do...

The only people who will keep their grandfathered plans are young, healthy males or older, healthy females. Their premiums would increase by a bunch if they switch. Everyone (insert disclaimer-not everyone) else gets a reduction at the expense of healthy people coming in.

With the non-grandfathered plans, at least here, most (at least from what I've seen) have implemented the new benefits and adjusted premiums to match.

So, yeah, keep your plan if you like it. Better to change. Most people won't like it.

Watch for young healthy people to pay the fine and buy when they need it. If they can get it for free, or nearly free (via subsidies IF they materialize) they might move forward. Otherwise, they will go bare.

Yes I took a Ruble Seminar and they spent 4 hours on group health. I think it is hopeless.

I think the errors and ommissions potential is enormous. Imagine screwing up a group plan and they get served with a $45,000 tax bill.
