If You Sell MA Plans, You Are Screwed.

Just looked at mine too....wayyyyyyy off.....not just a screw job but way off to the point that something is screwed up big time......I'm going through all the polices now....was expecting 12,000 + got 5200. - 2200 in charge backs for a total of 3000. ......plus they had 1400 in there from what they owed me from regular enrollments 2 weeks
ago.....(which i dont understand why they would mix the two together),,,,,,wayyyy out of line from my stats....

What a bunch of BS ya'll are going through.

What a totally messed up system.

Who do you talk to to get your money that's now owed? Obama? Head of CMS?

I want no part of MA's. Med-supps or bust for me and I enrolled one this morning on an OE supplement.

Good luck getting what's owed you.

I'm owed the 2nd half on about 70 plans. I haven't gotten the first hint of what, or if, I will be paid what is owed.

I've got a pretty good idea of when and I think it's probably already passed.

Might as well have written them for Parker and Asses. At least then I would have known to never expect it.

If they want to cut agents (especially independents) out of MA this is the way to do it.

Are broker arrangements still available with the captive companies in which you are paid for referrals? The last ones I heard of almost sounded too good to be true. If so, I might just start referring clients who can't qualify or pay for a Supp. to them and not even bother to recertify this year.

Bummer. That's what can happen when you get involved with a taxpayer funded, government run program.

Look at the bright side.

When Washington needs to raise taxes on the wealthy to cover the $100 trillion in unfunded liability, you won't be one of the wealthy.

That's one hell of a bright side!

I dropped out of the senior market 2 years ago and this year contracted with Humana for the referral program.
HUH....I have not seen any money from them.

I'm hearing if they had a PDP,,,and still new to MA...no pay....too bad that's not what they said in the contracts...all of them, the old and the new ones in Dec.
Looks like lawyer time....against every UHC person I ever talked to....time to file complaints against all the same individuals and the company with the state Insurance commissions office...at least there will be something on their files....I'm not going down on this ship alone....when my regional rep said I'd get paid even if they had a PDP and it was on the latest contracts and CMS also said it, then he will have a formal complaint on his recode for his career....management got paid, the company get paid, so I think its only fair they share in our victimization as they were involved all along the way.....

But yet they want agents to use a Scope Of Appointment form and have a 48 hour cooling off period before pursuing that massive $25 commission for a PDP plan.

This is an appropriate title for this thread...If You Sell MA Plans, You Are Screwed.....BIG TIME!
