So the IL Pre-Existing Insurance Plan is up and running. Just noticed this online on the state website, even though it's been up and running since 10/10 - and it wasn't online last week.

Any idea how they get around providing the Outline of Coverage requirement at the time of application requirement?

Also, what is the referral fee for brokers? Is it the $50 it was for ICHIP?

Premiums don't look terrible, but it's also a $2,000 deductible with 80/20 coinsurance, and a max OOP of $5,950. I haven't sold an individual plan with specs that bad in the 7 years I've been in business.

Think Leona Helmsley.

Requirements are for little people.

Darn insurance companies, offering stripped down benefits to these poor, unwitting consumers who... Oops! It's not an insurance company, it's the government plan. If Obamacare turns into a federal health care takeover, plan on having the GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE, GRAVEL, DIRT, MANURE plans.
