Just started in insurance industry this July.

I work with Aflac now. Can I work with Aflac and "Waddell and Reed" or no? Aflac is its own broker. I'm not sure about "Waddell and Reed". They say they are not captive, but when you sign up with them it may be another story lol. Just don't know if Waddell is a brokerage too.

I think Waddell and Reed is more of a broker dealer for securities. If you go with Waddell and Reed you will have to disclose your AFLAC activity and W&R will have to approve it. That would be considered to be outside business activity.

OK My W&R recruiter already knows. I'll just have to ask her so I know to drop Aflac or not.
